Well, my dads package store was just broken into at 1am last night, I was the only one awake at home when security called. He told me to go there, while he got dressed...so I was driving in a peaceful neighborhood, until BAM, something hit my windshield/car. I thought kids shot my car with a bb gun so I pulled over, spun my tires in reverse and stopped where it happened. Got outta my car and went in my back seat and grabbed my bat and took a quick walk around the area to find nothing. So since I have no cell phone and at quick glance there was no easily visible damage, so I just left and continued to the package store...on my way home to get tools, I passed by the same area to find a lady pulled over to find her window smashed and a cop behind her. I wanted to pull over behind the cop, but I figured they dont like it when strangers approach, so I kept going to my house...

Morning comes, time to view damage before school....to my frieking luck, EVERY passenger window has atleast 1 small chip 1 decent sized chip on the front window, and my new paint is damaged all accross the side. WTF, so after school, I called the cops and got a police report. Sucks though, cuz I only have liability insurance. But, anyway...I thought I'd share my bad experience, I'm going to the neighborhood now to ask around the houses if they saw anyone outside in that area (I used to live there so I know all the piece of **** kids that live there )

 

just makes you wonder why there are such stupid people out there??? so inconsiderate of other peoples property! i'd go back and have some good ole vigilanty fun! but that's me...

 

there are millions of retarded people that will do retarded things, especially to a car. It's sad, but you just gotta think positive and move on. You'll only hurt yourself by thinking about it.

Damage:
Front window chipped severly enough to replace
Front passenger window chipped (not as bad)
Read passenger window chipped (not as bad)
Rear small window chipped
Scratches/dings/paint chips EVERYWHERE on the passenger side

I'd say that is a good amount of damage, enough for me to want to junk the car now

 

point that bb gun at someone with a real gun see what happens

 

I do have a real gun, but I'm not stupid enough to point it at kids and/or kill someone thats practically unarmed (compared to me) ....thats what the bat is for, and if they have something bigger, step it up to a knife, and if they have a knife pointing at me, thats when ill pull out my gun, and if they pull out a gun...well put it this way, they wouldn't get very far besides trying to reach for it.

BTW, I went hunting last night and found no one...I asked around the houses in the neighborhood and no one saw anyone. Cops are investigating right now, cuz it didnt only happen to me, but I am lucky that my windows held up and didnt shatter unlike some other peoples...

Go back, same night the next week, same place, one hour earlier. Park a little ways away and walk to where it happened and bring a cell phone (and a bat ). Wait.

Or have a friend drop you off and be waiting a 1/2m away for you to call.

Or do what I'd do... have a friend drop me off an hour earlier than it happened, go in the woods and wait. Bring a cell phone, and if the kids showed up call the cops and give them directions to where you are. When you factor in the paint job you're looking at $2000 or so? Definitely worth my time to do that. I bet you find there's a house just through the woods and the cops won't have a hard time finding them.

I am sorry that you had to go through that. It is total BS.

A couple of years ago I washed my car in the morning, it was right after Christmass. While I was washing my car I kept hearing some ppsssshhh types of noises down the alley. I thought nothing of it. Later that day I noticed I had some weird bird droppings on it, like from a sick bird. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be green paint ball paint and the rubber type material from them all over my car. I then remembered the noises. I walked down the alley and noticed the same paint ball stuff all over the place. Some kids went trigger happy all over the alley, and on my car. My buddy and I went all around nocking on doors and asking if anyone there had a paint ballgun. I finally got to a house where the majority of paint ball material was around in the alley. I guess they first started target shooting the fences and some toys which were behind this house. I knocked on the door, the guy came out and said he knew nothing about all the paintball material behind his house, he did not hear anything (pretty unlikely), and that no one in his house had a paintball gun. I just looked at him for a while and then walked away (after hearing what he had to say and how he said it, it was pretty evident that he was lying). He then said as I was walking away "You know, maybe who ever did it did not mean to do it, and maybe it was an accident". I then responded with "well, who ever did it better not do it again or they may have the police called on them, or maybe have an accident themselves". If it would have happened again and I caught the kids that did it, I would have done nothing more that just call the police, I just told the guy that because I was very upset. That was the first and only time that this happened, and I have not heard the paint gun noises since.

 

Some little junior high bastards threw a rock at my windshield a few weeks ago as I was driving by them. I turned around and chased them into an alley, through about 4 yards, but couldnt find them. Dont know what I would have done to them considering Im prolly twice there age. But, then after I calmed down I realized I did some dumb crap like that when I was younger, so I couldnt be to mad. Good thing it was the windshield and not any other window cause it prolly would have went right through.

 

One of the reasons why i picked up comprehensive. Little kids that ride the cheese bus get jealous at times...

good luck man, i seriously hope noone f*cks with my car, i have a way too short temper and some stupid **** might slip on my part and ruin my life, happened to my friend with his evo, i guess the kid that did it had some ***** and tried to fight him, and then my buddy went and got a pvc pipe and beat the hell out of this kid, only to find out the next day that he was a cops' son. those ****** that think they can do anything because of their parents..... he got charged for battery and lost his car for the fines he had to pay, also, no college for this guy, and now his life sucks. not worth it
