Jerky Acceleration + dip in rpms on launch sometimes

Ok i just brought a 95 max gxe 5-speed last week and i've been chasing several demon's out of it (which i expect for the price i paid)... But i'm having alil trouble figuring this one out....

Sometimes when i'm accelerating in first and second (mostly those gears) its a bit jerky, doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen enough to annoy me, it usually happens between 0-60 mph, above 6 its pretty smooth (by then i'm in 4th or 5th gear though).... also this has only happened 3 times but i've put the car in gear off the line, either first or reverse and even while reving the rpms drop down like the cars gonna stall.... it happened in reverse twice where i had the clutch out enough to let the car start rolling backwards and all of a sudden the rpms drop, so i'll push the clutch in, rev the engine a few times, and usually the first first and even second rev's don't move the rpms, then it'll catch and rev up past 1.5k and idle back down to normal again....

What do those problems sound like? I'm thinkin spark plugs or ignition coils... the air filters clean (haven't checked the fuel filter yet), i don't have any codes but i'm gonna check tonight for a ghost code for the KS. Since i have no idea when or if its been replaced and the engines got at least 70k on it (i don't know exactly) .... Any input? .... I'm thinking Seafoam, spark plugs, and then see how that runs? Or does it sound more like a fuel problem.....

And a slight P.S. ... I hate the Speed limiter on the GXE!!! (but i don't want to have a perma CEL).... sorry i'm just complaining not asking for help with that....

So...what codes did you get because you never really mentioned that.

Sounds like it needs a really good tune-up, or a coolant temp sensor, or a MAF.

My bad maf left me a few times though never showed a code until about a week or more after it was pooping out on me.

It's not throwing any codes unless its a ghost knock sensor code, because i still haven't checked it, i think i'm gonna clean the TB, and seafoam it, i believe that should work also....
