guys ... here's a quick question. Will a 2002 maxima seats fit on 1997 maxima? has anybody done it? any help will be appreciated.

I'd say that the only issue you may run into would be the need for fabricating new seat brackets. Not sure if they would be a direct bolt-in replacement type of thing.

 

i know with the 5th gens, and probably the 4th gen (as with 75% of nissan seats) the seat pan bolts to the frame via 4 10mm? bolts, so you should be able to swap seat pans, as for the back you could just slip the 5th gen foam over the 4th gen frame, although the 4th gen frames might be a little shorter.

 

I believe somebody tried and they didn't fit...350z seats have been done, that would be even better. I want to do that someday.
