I'm pretty sure you will be the first to do it. Be sure and take lots of pics and post a good how-to for the rest of us.

Thanks.

Maybe you two can work something up together. The rest of us would appreciate it.

If you can figure out how to shorten the Johnson Rods to allow lowering in the front, that would kick a$$.

Lowering a car is impossible. The federal government mandates an exact height for your vehicle and if you lower it, you will be harrassed by the NTSB wherever you go.

It's a big fine if the NTSB catch you. You might even see jail time.

They just say that to scare you. I don't know anyone who's gotten more than a $300 fine.

Holy smokes - thats a cool idea - I hate the 4x4 look of my car too... maybe I'll lower my car, put on 17 or 18 inch wheels, get some tints and clear out my taillights... heck I might even copyright or patent those ideas...

It's not possible to lower a Maxima. I tried it, but then my car wouldn't start. I had to raise it back up again.

They said that it could not be done however it would be great if someone could do it first and da a wright up on it....

I've heard the best way to lower the car is to load up the trunk with some sand bags - that lowers the back, and to lower the front, just make sure you top off all your fluids, you'll be surprised at how much weight that adds and lowers the front because of it.

Thats the back-up (no pun intended ) method - sometimes is harder to find sandbags than fat-chicks here in the midwest.
