It can only be done at a dealership. That's what you get for buying 99+ Maxima

P.S. WTF was I thinking about before I wrote that reply, it's okey now.

it might suck now, but with that chip you have better theft security than us 98 and down.

I wish I have a chip in my key . . . but I refuse to have to deal with coil packs

Hey, I Copied My 99 Maxima Key With Chip At A Local Locksmith, They Hook Up A T-code Handheld To The Obd. Get Code, Then Program The Copied Key, Then Your Old Key Cost $60.00 Including Key

Tooo bad for us? It will be too bad for you when you come back one day and see your car gone. Try that with a 99 and up.

Please, you think that chip in your key will stop someone if they really want to jack you car? I sleep well at night night knowing that my car is in a garage, when it ain't it's protected by DEI. I'm just f*cking around with that Nismo key, but don't get you hopes too high with that 99+ crap.

Not that I want to fuel the "99 vs all other 4th gen" beef, but you have to admit, professional car thieves who jack cars with the aid of trucks are definitely in the minority. It's far more likely that a run-of-the mill ******* will find his screwdriver doesn't work in a 99 than a pro will drive away with a 99 Max in tow laughing at the futility of stock immobilizer systems... no?
