Like the title said, i'm looking for a wireless remote module. Yes, aftermarket alarm w/ remote starter, starter kill will be sufficient. I don't need that. Is an over kill for me. What i'm looking for is just a standalone wirelless remote module. Here's my story. My brother-in-law has manual pop-up trunk. Inorder to open the trunk, he needs a key or pull the latch from the driver sider. Therefore, I want to install the module on his car and remotely open it. He doesn't mind the extra remote.

Anyone know any cheap/ standalone wireless remote module?

u can get an alarm of ebay that will do teh same for cheap.. unless u have a kick *** alarm int ehre that u dont want to touch..

 

I have a kick @$$ alarm that turns on my CEL everyday! but I also have a stock remote for sale if you want it.

 

I don't think he wants to touch his OEM alarm system. I just found out he has a manul trunk pop-up. I think he needs a solenoid to trigger the trunk release. Oh, by the way! He doesn't own a max, he got a civic.
