Tranny Flush
in my opinion, who cares about draining the return line? the real deal draining is done by the dealers with their speacial machine. if u are on time with your fluid changes, then its enough to drain the old fluid and put in the new one. i dropped my pan and cleaned it inside, but thats because i never did fluid change before that and it was quite dirty.
oh and the worser problem than return cooler line is removing that nut off the filter to remove the filter. i couldnt do it on mine, and manual says u need to remove some part of transmission to take that off. good luck

All the info you need is right here. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=149056
there is a filter that need to be replaced with the AT Max's?
DO the 5Speeds have this also? I read the write up on tranny fluid change for the MT Max's it was just drain, and refil no mention of any filter.

The return hose is above the out-going hose. On the transmission case, there are two metal tubes. The lower tube has a Banjo bolt. ATF fluid goes out from this tube toward the radiator cooler and return to the transmission via the upper metal tube.
