A guy in a GS 400 cut me off not once but twice. I was not happy the second time he did it so I thought I would ride his bumper. We were on the highway avoiding a stalled car so when the far left lane (where the stalled car was) was clear again, I darted hard to that lane and ripped a 2nd (BTW it was only like the third time I ever shifted like this and I bought it 5 years ago). He heard me, looked at his rearview mirror and took off as well. As I was running my car pretty hard he just kept pulling...and pulling...and pulling. I saw 85 on my speedo and he kept pulling hard!! I think the car is beautiful but now have a newfound respect for them. It was at least a '99.

Good to post a rave about another car. GS400s have 300 HP, and can hit 0-60 in less than 6 seconds. A little out of our leagues.

Yeah those things are so nice. My second favorite realistic 4 door sports car (M5, E55, etc. don't count, too limited). Personally my fav is the 540i Sport 6 Speed. Damn that thing is quick.

What on earth mods do you have on your car!? A small part of me wants to do something about the fact that another car made me look real dumb - you know mod out or get a faster one. But I got my Max for a reason which was to have a quick, reliable, sporty, and bang-for-the-buck 4-door. Compared to other "family" cars in our class, there is no comparison which makes me feel like a smart consumer.

That's actually one of the cars where the econ/power tranny switch actually makes a differnce.

nope.. he has a launching problem.. too much wheel spin and wheel hop.. and by that time.. i am gone.. nice to get a hole shot on a FWD .. if he launches without power mode he launches fine.. but then the power isn't there.. and if he launches with power mode .. its spin city and wheel hop.. now running from a roll is a different story

And SprintMax, I got to see the running roll and it wasn't pretty...I take that back I thought the dual exhaust looked good. BTW, is there a GS430 now?
