I was going to post this in the "Off Topic" section, but it's no longer available - sorry. Anyway, I have noticed quite a few threads around the org lately talking about peoples cars being stolen or almost stolen. After reading a lot of these threads, I don't understand why people would post pics of their whips (I've seen plenty) WITH the license plate totally visible, clear as day, for any "undesirable" to run (everybody knows somebody that can run a plate). Why not just put a sign on your car saying "steal me"?

 

Yeah, that's almost as dumb as leaving your car parked on the side of the road, or in your driveway. In broad daylight. With the plates exposed...
