I know Seafoam cleans out the intake manifold and stuff, what other benefits are there of using seafoam thru the brake booster line, and does it also clean the EGR system? How do you know when to use seafoam?

 

i'd also like to know where i can get it at, is it something i can pick up at pep boys or do i have 2 order?

I got it at autozone, and some local shop in town. I dont know about the egr though.

 

It does clean the egr system in some places but if you are throwing the egr code most likely you have to get that tiny tube cleaned out....that is what I had to do. There was a thread on how to do it a few months back...it might have got stuck under one of the stickies.
