yes i already read the F.A.Q. and i found This
but i remember there was a post on doing this w/o the relay but i cant find it also, the site says it beeps when you set the alarm does that mean when you lock the car? i hate not being able to hear a noise when the car locks

No, you do NOT need the relay. It's redundant in the circuit. I've done this without the relay and no problems. Just connect the buzzer to where the diagrams says to connect the relay and that's it.
A helpful tip is to mount the buzzer outside of the car. At first I did it like the write-up, in the trunk, but it was hard to hear. I then placed it outside of the car and it's awesome now. I used the rubber grommet where the wires run out for the license plate lights so I didn't make any new holes.
I then secured the buzzer right where the license plate lights are. It sounds great and I no longer have to look for the car to blink for me to know it's armed.
