Alright so Saturday I'm driving home from work and my check engine light starts blinking. It didn't blink in an even pattern though, it would be on for 3 seconds, go off for 2 seconds, be back on for 1 second, go off for 4 seconds, etc: there was no pattern. So I get home and check the car for codes the next day, all I get is code 0505- no diagnosis. Nothing. Then without resetting the CEL, I've driven another 60 or so miles since and haven't gotten a CEL. Could the car be having a problem? Or was that light just complete BS?
