HID Help!!!

Ok i recently got a McChullogh 8000k kit, but it blinds people. The guy who put them in said he adjusted the headlight assembly all the way down, but i still just sends the beam straight. How can i make them go on a 45 degree angle down??

If you point the beam down at a 45 degree angle, you'll only be able to see about 15-20 feet in front of you. That will defeat the purpose of having HID, as HID is for seeing far ahead, wide to the sides, and intense white light right down the road. It's common for kits to be blinding because it's simply just not meant for halogen housings, thus the ban! Also, mcculloch is widely known for having a high premature failure rate, so good luck with your kit.

You will never have a good cutoff in the stock housings. The only thing you can do is to make projectors. Good luck! I had to take my HID's out for this very reason. I just could not take it. HID's in our stock housings just don't swing.

I aimed the lights down a bit and aimed the drivers side light in a little bit... seems to have done the trick as I only get flashed maybe once or twice a week...
