faster?

does unscrewing the little black thing under the gas pedal make a difference when you floor it? I heard about this on here the other day and i looked at it and wondered. Any one who knows??

i did that.. cant tell a difference

i remember when i did this... there were a lot of people asking the same question. A lot of people thought it would actually make it slower because when you have WOT with the plastic thingy, it has the TB calve thingy horizontal. If you were to take it out, the thingy may be less than horizontal. Then a lot of people said nissan knows what they are doing and to leave well enough alone, i did it anyway about 6 mos ago and havent had any problems.

i posted a thread like this in the 3rd gen forum joking and i got a whole bunch of responses about how bad it is for the throttle cables and that leaving the piece was the smartest thing to do.

hahah..faster, i guess you could say so....

i am assuming that you all have auto's right? on my old auto legend, there was that black button too and i wondered what i was. did some research and figured it out. all it is is a button that when pressed, tells the engine to downgear. by adjusting the button, it allows you to downgear earlier or later pending on how far the gas pedal is. someone correct me if i am wrong.
