I got 16 and happy with it..
There isn't much difference in performance between 16 and 17. maybe like .1 sec on 1/4 mile..
I have seen some member on board having 20 in.. it look damn good.. so it's really upto you, if you got $$ go for bigger rim...

I have the 17" GS400 Wheels and after having installed the H&R's/Tokicos with all the other braces, the ride is a bit harsh. A speeds below 10 mph it's pretty uncomfortable, but when the speeds get higher, the car feels more stable. One factor to consider with 17" wheels is the tire life and tire cost. Typically 17" tires are twice as much money as 16's unless you stick to Kumho (great tire, great price). I have a set of Bridgestone Potenzas that cost $230 a piece, I'm definitely going to go with the Kumhos when these wear out.

I had 99 SE rims (215-55-16) and now have 235-45-17 and there was not a difference to me as far as ride is concerned. But once I lowered the car, BIG DIFFERENCE in ride.

It comes down to your preference. I had stock 15 inch wheels and I too was deciding between 16 and 17 inch wheels.

I went with 17 because I wanted more of a change than just 16...and I like the look of 17 better...with the lower profile and everything...
