I've read that too. On their site it says they have the rev limiter upgrade for the 5th gens, but doesn't say anything on their site about the 4th gen limiter.

Yes, it's a great upgrade. The car pulls harder in every gear which helps us combat our problematic, tall gears.

IIRC i read that TS cracked the '96 ECU revlimiter successfully but not the '95 ECU's. Correct me if i'm wrong.

As an automatic, no, the rasised rev limiter won't really benefit you. Even with a stick shift, you'll need a modified IM to take advantage of the raised redline.

Gen8888 is right. TS has seemed to have found the crack for the 96 ecus but haven't found it for the 95 5speed or auto. I'm one of the few that hasn't gotten the raised rev due to my 95 ecu. Still hoping and waiting for it.

so do you guys just have to resend your ecu when they figure out how to crack the rev limiter? or would you have to pay them again to raise the limiter?

The raised rev limit helps automatics mostly b/c of the tall gearing, so JWT would be the ebst option, with a VI of course.

I talked to brian today. And he said they havent figured it out for the 5speed. But its available for the auto. And i have a 95 auto. SO you might want to give Brian a call to confirm.

Yeah I just sent mine in not knowing that the rev limiter problem was not completely fixed. I installed a MEVI not too long ago and I NEED 7000 and my mid range torque back.
