New Tires put on Max today!
Got new tires put on my 99 today, I went with the Continental Conti Extreme Contact in the 225/55/16 size. Got them from Tirerack for $73 a tire and had them put on by Wal-Mart. I must say that I had my doubts about their work but everything seems to be good on the drive home (about 35 miles). Their price was about $13.50 per tire. The tires ride great, I think the 225 has a slightly larger sidewall but I like the look and the ride. Can't wait to try in some rain or snow.

Wal-Mart also mounted 1 of my tires and did a good job except they cross threaded two lug nuts. When I went back to complain they had also cross threaded another customers lug nuts. They are not authorized to do that kind of repair work (replace a stud - real tough job
) so they sent me to a Firestone next door. The guy at Firestone said he makes a killing by fixing all of their mistakes - he got $90 from them for fixing my studs. Since then I have always been scared to go back.
