ECU code 0503---Front right O2 sensor...
I'm a newbie here and this is my first post so please be easy now. I got the ECU codes from reading the blinking CEL. NE ways I received the 0503...means front right O2 sensor. Where EXACTLY is this located? The Haynes guide only shows it for the older 1 O2 sensor Maximas. If anyone has a pic of it that would be great. Never knew this forum existed and I've learned a bunch these last 2 days. Thanks for it all.

welcome to the org,
its the 2nd o2 sensor in the y pipe, you could get an special o2 socket to get it out, or just use a wrench and get the old o2 off and put the new one on.
should take long at all to do, about a 30 min job.
check the faqs and how to, there are a lot of excellent info in there.

thnx for the reply. I'm a noob so I'm not quite sure where the y pipe is located. I've done some wire tracing and (if you are standing at the front of the hood) looks like the rear O2 sensor is the far-left-third of the engine bay correct? Goes straight down about a foot or so?
Sorry bout asking these EXTREMELY noob-type questions. I've read through lotsa the faq's and how-to's but I haven't been able to find the EXACT location of it. I've found the codes and how to change it out but that was about it.
