Intake with no CEL!!!

I have been considering buying a frankencar intake, but I am wondering whether or not my CEL would always be on. There is a connection for some sort of sensor on the plastic tube which goes from the scoop to the filter box. What is that connection for??? Wondering if the frankencar come with a place to attach this or not. All of you with intakes please let me know what you think...

No CEL...the sensor you speak of is the intake temp sensor. Most ziptie it to the intake.
