Worst Christmas EVER

I crashed my Max!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Going to a friends house and i miss the freeway offramp so i get off the freeway and hop on going the opposite direction but as I'm acclerating on the on-ramp i loose traction (it was wet) mad understeer takes over and instead of turning right i go straight into this dirt mound thing. Thank god i was the only one in the car and i didnt hit anyone else. Now my front left wheel is all crooked and the front bumper is ****ed. It was all my noob *** fault as i was frustrated and in a hurry (for no reason) so there is nobody to blame but myself. *hangs head in shame*

Imagin if you had super human strangth and you kicked the bottom of the driver side tire and now its bent in. thats whats it like. The flat tire got me .5miles to a friends house where it will sit for a while untill i get the money for towing and everything else.

sorry to hear about your accident, glad your safe, thats the good things.

does it seem repairable or too expensive too?

understeer isnt cool, were you going pretty fast or you tried to slow down, then turned?

MDeezy: I have no idea how much damage was done. I can only imagin upwards of 3000$ So my car might be sitting infront of my friends house for a while. Bottom like is i was taking the corner too fast for the givin weather conditions and i lost traction.

$3000? Spend the 3g and buy another max. Switch all the goodies to the new one.

sorry to hear about the accident. Hope everything works out.

that's unfortunate. i'm not saying this might help or anything, but sometimes in desperate times of understeer it might help to pull on the ebrake for a split second. it sounds like you probably might have been going too fast reguardless, but sometimes half a second on the ebrake is enough to rotate the car enough for all 4 tires to grab again. in times when understeer is predictable i use a little left foot braking while keeping steady throttle. this seems to shift the weight forward just enough to allow the front tires to grip and the rear to rotate. to me, the left foot brake is a "manual" yaw control. good luck with the repairs.
