Third Brake Light

Hello,

I have a 96 SE with the third brake light on the deck lid spoiler. Mine is out. Do I have to take the spoiler off to get to it? The screws are difficult to get to. Are there bulbs inside or do I just replace the whole unit? Thanks, Marty

i am in the process of puttin a clear third brake light on. the screws are hard to get out make sure u dont strip them. the clear third brake light doesnt fit even you have to drill screw holes or use silicone to seal it on. you can get a oem light from the deal but im guessing theyll rip you off. idk if you can just replace the bulbs.

heres the clear http://www.electrodyne.cc/Merchant2/...de=brakelights

heres a quick right up on the clear

Thanks TBombs32! Looks like I need to replace the whole unit. I will shop around and may go clear. Thanks again.
