Never Ending EGR Flash Code (0302)
If I were you I would return the EGR valve, I too replaced EGR valve after getting this code and it came right back after about 150 miles...Troubleshoot first with the EGRC solenoid,,replacing this should hopefully resolve this issue.
That's what I probably will do, but I am going to hold on to my egr valve either way. Next, time I drive by the nissan stealership I will find out how much they are going to dig in my pockets for an EGRC solenoid bet I am not getting code 1005.

2 other things - I drove it last night again; it's misfiring really bad when you step on it. And then the check engine light will actually start flashing while I'm driving; and then it goes off. If I accelerate hard again it will start flashing again then go back off. Occasionally it will stay lit and then throw the 0302 code. What does the flashing during during driving mean? I'm starting to think it has to be ignition coils?

Both crank position sensors are used to detect misfires that will flash the CEL. They are serious enough to disturb the engine's smooth rotation enough for them to detect it, therefore bad for the engine - thats why the CEL flashes when your under a load. Gas pedal down around 1/3 sets it flashing, but if your gentle the car will drive without the light flashing.
If thats whats happening, then it's your coils.
ive had this code for over a year, and there hasnt been a problem besides the damn code, although my tb probably looks like the inside of a large intestine right now so im gonna clean it after winter.
ok here's a brain teaser . . . .
All my EGR related components have been changed for brand new OEM parts. All coils were changed in July. Yet the EGR 0302 code lights up. It goes away automatically after several computer cycles but comes back on. So here goes . . . . the SES light only comes on when i am going at a steady speed of 50+ mph and then suddenly let go of the gas pedal for a panic/abrupt stop.
Any ideas on this one?

wow this THREAD is getting really interesting. I have same Problem and now waiting what erbentraut will find.? please help this poor guy finding how to find which coil pack is bad as it will help alot of other ORGERS like me who are in trouble for this code...
Resolved
So just as an FYI - the code went away for a few weeks then came back. The car ran great though - the coilpacks were definately the culprit causing the misfire. I could care less about the stupid code ... I never did get it resolved ... I got so tired of it, it gave me a good excuse to buy a new 350z .... do I did.
