Odd clutch issue any ideas?

Ok i'm new to 5-speeds so this may not be so odd, but this morning i get into my car and i go to press the clutch pedal to start it and its REALLY soft, i mean it goes to the floor with very little resistence. It stayed soft like this for a the first 20 min. i was driving today and on the highway once i pressed the pedal down to the floor to change gears and it wouldn't let me pick a gear, then i let up and pressed it again and it went in with no problem. Then as i drove more the clutch pedal returned to normal (although still just a tad soft i think) Now it works just fine and smooth as always (shrug) what was that about? Last night when i parked it, it was absolutely normal.

I thought you had Skilz??
1) rebleed. see what happens
2) Check for leaks. Especially the slave and clutch line
3) replace slave. note results
4) if still bad, replace the mc
