Do they make tinted color paint? if so, how about doing the skyline mod to it and painting whatever surrounds the leds to match the body of your car? that way the backup light and red side lights will light up. It might still look like a weird gen2 altezza but still damn original. :: I would've done the same thing if I knew they made those round light assemblies bigger.

Don't like em. Different doesn't necessarily mean better...

But +1 on the creativity and craftsmanship...

you can make 95-96 clears if you set up those leds in a proper formation. Try it and I'll buy a pair if you can do it.

I was so thinking about doing this, but I dont know enough about wiring and such. Could you do a write up on this? Where did you get the round led set up from? I have a set of alturds sitting around that I would love to do this to and then get them painted for a skyline mod. I will definately incorporate this into my mod if you dont mind helping a brother out with some instructions. Badass job man!

Great workman ship and creativity.

I like how they look, I like how you black out the chrome so it emphasizes on the lights more, they look good but can wait to see day and night shots on the max, i think on a Black Max those would look spectacular.

Great job. But they kinda look crude, not factory in my opinion. But that's the problem with my tails too. Congrats on finding time to do these, I still have this design only in my drawings for my car.
