Need carpet replacement!

My car got flooded and it smells like sh*t! Where's a good place to get carpet replacement for a 99 Maxima? The cheapest I found so far is on stockinteriors.com for $129.95. I have the light beige colored carpet.

this something i was gonna look into in a few months, $130 isnt bad. does anyone know is it hard to rip out the old carpet? what would be the best thing to use to hold down the new one? i would say since this carpet is already molded for our car, thats the way to go.

The problem is, im not sure if u can take out the carpet w/o removing the entire instrument panel. if that was the case it would b a b*tch. as for adhesive, i dont think you need ne.

Instrument panel? I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing here. From what I read, in the Haynes Repair Manual, if you have SRS airbags, which I do, you would have to disconnect a whole bunch of wires and make note of them. It also seems you'd have to take off the steering wheel. This may sound ridiculous. Like I said, I'm not sure if you'd have to do all of that just to take out the carpet. It would be ridiculous.
By posting that link, I assume you agree that stockinterior.com has the best price?

To save a few bucks, how about taking out the carpet and pressure washing it, let ir air dry, spray it down with a bacterial spray, install carpet and add carpet fresh. It may take longer compare to r&r the carpet, but at least your wallet won't be $129.95 (plus shipping) lighter

JZQ,
I would definitely try what Candi explained first, before you go and spent the 130 on the carpet. The odor is more than likely coming from whatever moisture is between your floorpan and the carpet. Once you get the carpet out, and cleaned, it may get rid of that odor. As far as the color, how bad was that affected....ie mold spots, discoloration?

a lil dark spots near the lower areas (areas where it dried last). Is it possible to take out the carpet without removing the entire deck?

I wish I had an honest answer for you, but Im not sure. I did some looking around at the posts from before, because now i am curious about replacing my carpet too. The snow and salt is already taking a toll on the carpet. If I find anything that has some sort of guidance on how to remove the carpet, I will def give you a heads up. So far, i havent seen a post regarding that at all.
