After installing tien-s springs 1.5" all around on my I30T, ive noticed at poping/clanking noise coming from the front end when i turn the wheel. Almost sounds like the springs are moving...I've lowerd cars before and never had this problem. What did I do wrong. They are maxima springs, but look identical to the I30's.

quite possibly the strut mounts/bearings are shot....i believe the same thing is happening to me.....i as well have S-tech's but this sound is happening now after 10 months of having the springs on

talked to nissan and they said the life span for these parts are about 5 years

That same exact thing happened to me when I installed the Tein S. Springs on my 96 Maxima. After a couple weeks of driving, the noises went away so I stopped worrying about it. But yeah, most people said it was either the strut bearings or strut mounts.

i get the same noise, but i was told it could be the strut bearings or mounts, or if not that the ball joint or control arm bushings... what is strut bearings ne way???

yeah, im pretty sure the struts are shot, getting new struts soon, im also thinkin the springs need to break in
