Are there any aftermarket trannies that you can swap in the max? Or can you only swap in another 4th generation max tranny? I've heard about level 10 but are those trannies any good? Thanks.

 

I dont think there is any such thing as an aftermarket tranny for our cars, or any cars for that matter.

the level 10 you are refering to is a Level 10 Valve Body mod which is done to automatic Maxs (I assume your is auto?)

other than that, replacing our trannies with another one from our year or other years is all we can do, besides havin the tranny cryo treated.
