I've only had her for amonth, "BUT" i got it for 2 major reasons:

1)the wealth of information (here and elsewhere) So i can save $$$ on repairs

2)The reliability of the VQ

I also love that it seems no matter what repair you need (assuming its nothing major) the max will keep on truckin it, as long as gas and oil is in that car.

I need to fix so much, but my baby is still hanging in their till i get some money.

What's not to love! I personally can't think of anything. Number one is reliability! I can't tell you how many times I see people along side the road and I just say to myself, I love my Nissan! I don't know if I've ever seen a Nissan broken down with no where to go. Plus, it's a luxury car without the price. I am able to afford it. I am not into the power but love that I'm not lagging behind and holding up the show. Also, I have been in -30F weather and my Maxima still fires up! I don't have to call off of work because my car broke down or won't start. Lots of room and it makes me look good! My friends give me **** but I'm at 204K and still going strong. Most people I know never had anything beyond 150K when it kills.

Cheers to the Max!

1. Love the VQ series engines.
2. 4 doors of love, baby.

edit: forgot, most important reason would probably be I have 245,000 miles and still killing.

96 I30 here:

1. After many a common problems solved w/ the stereo, the now properly working BOSE HU is what makes the car for me. It's always a pleasure to listen to.

2. GLE users can relate- inside of my car still gets plenty of complements when people come inside. They are surprised the car is so old.

3. Since no one mentioned this, I love that my windows role down w/ the touch of a button

Its the engine that I like!! One of the 10 best for many years and 80% of the torque available over 2500rpms. Link that with the 5 speed and find a curvey road!!

Silky smooth engine

Luxury for the money

I'll only list two, not going to wax on about the endless virtues of this magnificent automobile. Just picture me as the sensitive guy in Bedazzled looking at my Max and breaking out into tears. LOL JK!
