Clutch PSA
As I feel the life of my clutch drawing near, I remember reading in a thread that moving the grab point + bleeding can help extend the life a bit.
yesterday, bleed the clutch for the first time, and in the lower bleeder valve, the oil seemed clean, after about 9 times it was consistanly clean. When i did the upper it was nasty, I got dirty dark brown oil, and kept getting dirty oil but had to stop as I ran out of brake fluid.
Results: I must say clutch feels much better, the grap point feels butter smooth and almost non existant, I was a little worried that the pedal felt too soft, but I'm not sure if it was soft or just how it should feel with proper fluids in there and plus the clutch felt firm when pushed with my hand and went into gear easier than before.. What are some of your experience/reactions after bleeding your clutch?
highly recommend if you dont know when the last time your clutch was bled, and funny enough I used some brake fluid I had purchased to top off my GF car. Best $3 my clutch has ever enjoyed.
