Ground Controls coilovers use Eibach springs. I think GC is a subdivision of Eibach or are related somehow.

Are you using GC coilovers or Eibach springs? With coilovers you can adjust ride height and make your car lower. Just wondering Which KYB struts are you using, GR2s or AGXs?

Eibachs are not really that low, about 1.5" or so. They are really stiff though, one of the best handling springs. I love mine. It looks like a max should stock. If you have Eibach springs then you would have to get lower springs or some kind of coilovers.

How can a drop look shady?

What setup does the 97 have? There shouldn't be a huge difference. 97s are a little heavier. Autos are also heavier so the front will drop more on an auto.

if you have coilovers you can adjust the height....you can lower a car on GCs more then springs.

what is this setteling stuff? my sprints didn't settle.
as far as i know my buddies GC didn't settle either...

if you really want springs, sprints are the only one that are really low...

oh if you lower GC all the way front and back. The drop isn't even at all. you have to lift the front up if i remember correctly.

I was thinking it but didnt post it.

Do you have coil overs? if so you dont need to buy new springs just adjust the height

on a side note:
S-Tech are low also 2" drop.Should rock well on AGXs

Tien S techs and sprints are the lowest drops for springs.

Coilovers are needed if you want to be really low. You cannot be "tucking" on springs. Not going to happen. Maximas are too high to begin with to do that.

You would think that but I had the opposite happen. For some reason the drop is even or maybe a tiny bit lower on my 5spd. Why? I dunno.

1) Springs do not settle
2) coil overs can be adjusted
3) There is no difference in suspentions from 95-99
4) Eibach prokit springs look like this

You can go lower but on stock style struts it will not handle any better. Some sprint owners just about tuck BTW.
