RPM dropping to 500

RPM dropping to 500

My rpm is dropping to 500, Im losing some power and i think my alternator is making a noise. Can anybody help me out?

For the low idle, try cleaning out your throttle body, if that does not do the trick, clean out the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Also for the loss of power, check you ECU for stored codes, you may pull up a Knock Sensor code.

thanks, but where is the IACV located? I cleaned the throttle already.

Here is a link that shows a picture of where it is, look at post #3. It is behind the throttle body and in is connected to the intake plenum.
