I'm having trouble finding the instructions on how to reset the "Service Engine Soon" light in my '97 maxima. I've done all the maintenance but don't know how to reset it.

you mean the check engine light? if so, it's on for a reason. do yourself a favor, and read the faq's, check your codes, then fix it, then reset your cel. see all those posts on top of the page that say "READ ME READ ME READ ME"? read them.

There's a check engine light and there's a "Service Engine Soon" light. Are those two the same thing?
I already read the readme's (before posting the original question), but I only found the check engine resets, not "service engine soon"
