mevi install help

this week im prolly gonna tackle the install of the MEVI sense im taking a 300 mile trip and highway miles to test it out. just wondering if theres any link to anywhere insted of vqpower that shows a how-to to install. i just want pics of the basic removal of the stock mani and the install of the MEVI along with how to hook up the vaccum lines and T and to where with pics of where to splice in to get the RPM signal and how to hook up everything? just want to reassure myself that im not gonna have the manifold on and have -20hp because i couldnt get the switch to work. i think im getting the summit not sure though. i know it comes in a black box lol...here it is

any help would be awsome just so i know exacly what im doing especially with removal of the stock mani sense it has so much crap bolted on and connected to it. what can i take off now as to bolts and such so when its time to start taking it off i have a head start?-Ryan

Wow, you actually bought it even though you can't get an ECU? Why?

dave, leave him alone. just cuz i strip bolts on your car doesnt mean that you can take it out on him.

ryan, it should be a straight forward install, just piece everything together first (with threadlocker red)

you might want to pm iansw since he used to import them.

DAve- i bought it without the ECU because i can and because i want a change and want to see how it works out on an automatic at the track and highway driving.

I've been driving without an ECU for about 7 months now. The only thing that sucks about not having the ECU in is the acceleration in the midrange RPMs. My car still hauls a$$ though.
