SP2 vs. Evo2

What is the difference between the SP2 and Evo2....besides $30?

last time i checked Greddy didn't make a Evo exhaust for the 4th gens.

i think theres a EVO for the VQ30DE-K but im not sure, i could be wrong but that wont fit up to a 4th gen

The EVO is for the 2000-03 Maxima only.

No, because the catback isn't anywhere near the engine and the underbody of the 5th gen has gotta be signficantly different from the 4th gens....

the greddy's are always traditionally ricey in sound quality and overall tone...however...I do agree that the SP2 sounds dramatically better than the SP1!

I have a '97SE with an EVO2...And I LOVE IT! Noooo it's not a custom b-pipe with the GReddy rear section,its the whole entire cat-back,just made a few adjustments.

theyre completely different... the sp2 is an oval muffler while the evo2 is a round muffler... they dont even make the evo or evo2 for 4th gen, only 5th

EVO2 is HUGE...It sits VERY low on my 4th Gen.

do you guys have pictures or sound clips? Has the WS2 been released yet? I really want to get an exhaust when spring rolls around. What does the SP2 or WS sound like with a y pipe?

Evo = canister style muffler ONLY 5th gens...

SP2 = OEM styled muffler and very highly polished ONLY 4th gens...

...then why do I have it on my 4th gen? Its very easy to make the EVO fit.

how do you figure? they are practically the same, with the exception that the sp2 had 1 resonator instead of two, and it's ss piping..

i have the sp2 and it does not sound ricey at all
