My friend has a spare key fob for his 96 altima and I was wondering if I can use it on my 95 SE. I know it has three buttons instead of four but they do look alike otherwise. If they do work on my Maxima, would the three button configuration affect the window roll up/down function(really cool)?

try a locksmith, they have the books on all the car models and what keys u need....

 

yeah, it will... but you gotta modify it.... just buy a cheap maxima one from ebay

 

yea i had it once before. YOu have to cut the chip up a good bit and the insides use different things to press the buttons on teh chip to lock/unlock/and trunk. I had this forawheile and sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't As maxima99se said go on ebay and buy one cause the altima one sucks when you got to use it for our cars.
