i got the cat cus my stocker was dead and i needed to pass smog. i decided that spending $180 on a hi flow was better than spending $400 on nissan OEM.

There is no way its a 5hp gain, and if you believe that you have issues.

the stock cat isnt THAT restrictive that if you replaced it, you would get 5 whp...just put the OEM one on, or a replacement on for a fraction of the cost...what you're doing now is killing the environment.

i said .5, as in 1/2 HP. i know the hi flow does not give me **** in performance.

i am not going to buy some garbage POS from autozone or kragen.

also, how do you suggest i put the OEM one back on when it is busted? i need to pass smog. a hi flow cat is the cheapest solution.

just a suggestion have you checked with junkyard I'd think they'd let a cat go fairly cheap.

true but a cat isnt really a common thing to go on our cars so its fairly safe to assume that the cat you choose would be in a decent condition. But you makea good point, just providing another poential place to get it form incase times before a factor.
