I have a question...

If I take my intake/y pipe/catback Maxima with a full suspension and throw a mevi in there... will my 1/4 times increase? In the mod section it says that the stock max with the US vs VI would be about the same, but nothing about the two with equal mods but only differences being the intakes (VI vs. US).

Because I am little scared now of the results i'll have with the mevi opposed to my US intake.

MEVI, Stillen Intake, Stillen Y Pipe, and Greddy catback vs:

US Intake, Stillen Intake, Stillen Y Pipe, and Greddy catback

Who is the victor?

Also, add an ECU to those 2 and what do you guys think? I saw a guy on here who said he ran a 13.4 with the MEVI/ECU and the other mods listed... saw nothing of a full suspension though.

he had a full suspension too trust me. Also WITH the ecu the mevi wins, without its really not much difference, the mevi will trap higher and the us im will trap lower with about the same 1/4 time

I believe the mevi without the ecu will still win because if you slam 2nd and 3rd the rpms will grab around the area the mevi opens therefore it will help you redline faster thus making you run faster with those supporting mods. anyone else think diff?

Bump

you're still going to loose midrange, the mevi is not going to help you re-coop the mid range you lose just because you open it earlier. so in turn the 1/4 times will still be roughly the same besides the mph
