This was on my sister's car but, I am just pissed how someone would take time out of their day and do this to someone else's car. Plus, it used to be my car, and I miss it dearly. She parked it at the school parking lot all day yesterday because she went on a school trip. She comes back late that night to find this! She parked in front of the YMCA, so it couldnt have been during the day.

I am going to check with the school cameras to see if they caught anything. I hope the F*CKERS who did this pay for it. I just feel like punching someone right now... I hope they burn in h3ll for this. Whatever goes around comes around.

I am 98% sure it is someone she knows. I mean they had to have known the car was parked there, a school lot on a weekend. Then again it could very possibly be a random act.

Yeah, this looks personal. A random act of a-hole would most likely have been just walking down the side of the car in a semi-straight line. Most likely someone one of you knows. Maybe a race you or your sister won against..... I definitely don't think it was another Max owner. We all I think have respect for one another in that sense... Good luck finding the motherfu**er.

I think it was a random act. I think some teenage punk *** kids were trying to be all big and bad for there friends and started showing off...thats how things work at my school.

back to your car. Now that looks more like a someone who knew you/ your sister well to do it. Thats the bad thing about parking at school parking lots. Part of the reason why i stay away. Unless its under security 24/7 like my school currently.

 

damn dude, that sucks...Pretty much the same thing happened to me a couple years ago when i still had a contour w/ my dual flowmasters. Someone carved f*** You in my hood(which took up most of the hood) and then keyed the entire side of my car. Good news is i got about $1700 from insurance to fix the paint...bad news is i couldn't afford my deductible so it still looked the same when i totalled it this past summer. Good luck catchin the bastards that did it...I just figured if they were that much of a puss they couldn't come to me about whatever their problem was, they deserve a nice punch in the face (among other things). Hope everything works out

 

i feel your pain.... i still got a long thick scratch across my car when sum1 keyed it... but i expect it here... thats what i get for parking my car on the street in brooklyn... i wouldnt be suprised if it got stolen either.. considering my friends max was stolen 3 blocks from my house... and im supposed to live in a "good" neighborhood...

P.S. Nismo, if you need a good body shop, there's a place here in IC that does great work on Maximas. My trunk lid cost $250 or so to refinish. LMK if you'd like the info.

did you file a report with your insurance company yet i know someone had a similar problem a couple months ago and he got his whole car repainted

but since this is just the trunk lid it might be able to be fixed for less than your deductible

Update: Well I just found out that 3 other cars were keyed the same night. My sister's friend's car and this chicks 03 Mustang was keyed even worse. So far I have one name, but its not certain that this guy did it. They are thinking its my sister's friend's ex bf... I am going to make this SOB pay for all of it.

 

I think it would be more satisfying to redo the trunk yourself, and then redo that guys face. eff that.

 

Man- That seriously sucks. ya know, I juts got my Porter cable polisher and have not been able to get down and dirty with it. But I am actually scared of making maxine too pretty for fear of this kinda ****. Keep us posted of the whooping.

 

sorry to hear about your sisters car (your old car) man i understand what you are going through, my chariot was recently violated (parts stolen and lots of body damage) so im right there with you guys.
