My advice, skip the OEM fogs. Get some round angel eye fogs from ebay. They look great if you mount them further back in the holes. I have 2 sets of OEM fogs from a 96. I'm planning on selling those and just buying some off ebay.

all maxima's 95-99 are wired for fog lights
if your car doesn’t have fog lights all that’s involved in installing them is:
1) cut out the bumper (if not already done)
2) bolt on bracket
3) plug fog lights in
4) bolt the fog light on
5) install a relay in the left fuse box
6) buy and install headlight switch with fog light switch on it

items needed: fog lights brackets side pieces bolts relay and intermitted headlight fog light switch

tools needed: screw driver 10 mm socket

steps of install: 1995 1996

1) 1st you are going to use a dermal with a cut off wheel disc

2) next you are going to cut the bumper away cut right around the bumps on the fog light space you can always cut to little than to cut too much

3) 3 10mm bolts, bolt on brackets

4) next pop in fog lights you will be test fitting the fog lights around the bumper

5) trim the bumper is needed

6) when everything fits sand and use touch up paint on the edge where you cut.

7) slide fog lights into bracket and holder

8) pug fog lights in ( all maxima are prewired)

9) install 1 10mm bolt to hold fog light

10) pop side piece in

11) you are all done down there

12) next install a blue relay in the left relay box you can buy this relay at a pats store ~ $5.00 it is the same relay as the horn relay

13) next you will have to buy a intermitted headlight fog light switch

14) you can get it off ebay for about 25 or at a local junkyard

15) remove 6 screws from trim around steering wheel

16) remove 2 screws from headlight switch and unplug 2 wire harnesses

17) plug in the 2 harasses you unplug and there will he a 3rd harness a smaller one that you will have to plug into the new switch

18) reinstall everything and you are all done
