doing 97+ conversion need opinions on grill, stillen kit and eyelids!pix

ok now should i get the stock grill or get this grill? http://motostorm.com/gpage6.html because i already have these eyelids and i need them to be painted http://www.customenterprise.com/view.../vts/design004

now should i get the s5 grille or stock 97 grill? or another grill that you guys prefer? trenz is out of the quetion.

another question is the 99 rear stillen kit would it fit on my 96 rear bumper?
and if i do get a 99 rear bumper would it look funny on my car? or would it look noticeable?

btw i met this guy around my way and he selling a beatup 97 stillen front lip for 150. i mean its not that beat up its just like a little twisted looking, its blue and primer color is it worth it? or should i spend the other 70 dollars at southwest autoworks and get it for 210 shipped?

another quetion, when i get the 97 bumper and get it painted should i just throw the lip on the bumper so they wont charge me more at the shop?

lol sorry about alll the question guys but im buying these stuff in a matter of this week and need opinions asap.

I like the s5 grille only because it is different. I think it is too bling. Unless you get some bling azz rims. I do like the idea of the eyelids. That is just my opinion. It's your money and I think you should get what you like.

An interesting thought, the S5 Painted to match you cars color, so it wont look as bling and stand out, but it would fit more and blend it better but still look differenty from 98% of the Maxs out there.

As for the Lip is it badly twised, cause you could probably put screw key places to keep it straight and look right on your car. I'd also drill holes and get the Lip put on the car so they wont try to tag an extra $50+ on to the bill cause they see it as another piece that needs painting. They may not know that the front bumper is like that and just charge their regular flat fee.

Keep in mind this is a quick and rough photoshop. But hopefully you get the idea

bumping this up cuz i'm going to be swapping soon too and looking for some other options. i was going for the i30 front end but i think it would be too much for me to have to paint a full front end pearl white. let us know how you're progressing.

na i dont think the black on the beige will flow nice on my car i kinda like the colors on it light, thats why i got those 2k rims they look suttle. wow i just sounded like a fawken homo. NEways if i did paint the middle part black i would have to change the rims do ae mod black out tails and corner lights.

btw you know how the 97 grill has the back piece behind the H? should i spray the whole grill beige or spray the grill beige and leave the back piece with the lines black?

OHHHH...Come on man, it looks tyte. Or you could just paint the horizontal part behind the Nissan hamburger black, keeping the rest of it Pebble Beige.

Check it out after you do the grill. I don't know how it would look. Let's see if PhotoShop will tell me.

IMHO the OEM grille looks the best paired with the Stillen lip. I did my conversion 2 summers ago and to this day LOVE the look of my OEM grille over any of the other grilles out for the 97-99 front.

I agree although the 96 Grill is My favorite, the 97+ is a very close second, especially when its painted to match your car, just beautiful.

I would never trenz my car, nor S5 but that is just me.

Stock grill.

The 97-99 stillen kit will not fit on the 96 bumper. Only the side skirts are interchangeable. There are minor differences between the 95-96 bumper and the 97-99 bumper. They're minimal differences that someone wouldn't notice but you probably would.

I have a question on the 97+ conversion also. When doing the conversion to the front end, do you have to get the 97+ bumper retainers, absorbers, reinforcements and brackets too? Or can I you just put the 97+ bumper on top of the 95-96 stuff?
