I have those clears Armani was showed in the picture. I bought them from CustomMaxima when they were first produced and marketed as "diamond cut." The bumper lights have since changed to a cloudier style, but the name "diamond cut" has remained. Both my fronts cracked and melted because they were so thin and cheaply made... thanks a lot, custommaxima.

I've since reverted to my trusty pair of ultra cloudy clears, that I bought for $100 back in 1998. Those were the first mod I bought and they were actually made of thick quality plastic, just like OEM.

The new APC stuff is CRAP.

There's no such thing as any bumper lights clear than the regular DCs.

Armani is full of it.

Dude, are you still in denial? Reread the damn thread. There are pics in here that show the clears I'm talking about as truly clear, clearer than the DC's. You've never obviously seen them in person so how would you know? I actually have. WTF is your problem? You're a real d!ck sometimes, and an ignorant one too.

I do like the APC "clearer" ones a little better but they obviously don't sell them anymore and they tend to leak and fog up so I am going to go out of my way to get some. I think we all need to just settle down and enjoy whatever type of bumper lights we have or want to have.

To each his own. I like the Ambers and when they got cloudy and faded (hey, you'd look like crap too if people threw crap at you for 190k miles) I bought a "new" set from nupe500, much nicer looking. The clears look cool, especially on black cars, but I think clean ambers look best on a ruby-pearl.

Clear corners are clear corners. Best to get the less expensive ones, throw them in. God knows behind every clear corner thread is a "i got my clear corners stolen" thread...

What about the one-piece Cefiro headlights? No corner to worry about, and 100% clear (ok, this whole discussion is about just the corner, but if you really want clear, IMO Cefiro is what looks best)

True clear corners

Those look good , but not worth $60 , another crappy APC product, also they leak and fog up pretty bad ( had the resealed 2 times already )

Shove a flat blade screwdriver in between the two pieces. You can force the side piece out (smaller piece). Then unscrew the other part of the light.

Those old school clears suck, mine faded to yellow within six months, I now have the jdm black ones(I guess these are called dc turns) and they look 10 times better than old school clears or the euro style clears. After having four sets of bumper lights in my 96, personally i think the black ones look best but it is your ride so who cares what we think? j/k

Those APC clears are almost as old as i am. Seriously, it must've been over a year since i saw somebody post about them. Anyways, the lens apparently scratch easily and just like any APC products, i heard quality is lacking. Factor in the fact that they cost more than DC's and nobody cares.

Someone finally helped me find the APC "REAL" clears. If you bozos who doubted me still can't tell the difference, maybe it's time to actually have a look at your cloudy clears. So, unless you have DC clears (which are not truly clear themselves), then you have cloudy clears, END OF STORY!

The pic my above post was before I painted my cefiros to match my corners, and like i said it is YOUR opinion that matters, not ours. I like those clears in the pics above, but if quality is lacking you might as well stick w/the stock o.e. ones, I just thought you were talking about the earlier version clear corners that faded and were not really clear. I will post recent pic showing custom painted cefiros and dc turns

Now, anyone know of any other forums besides this one? I'm really getting sick of this ****.
