2 ??? remote start and wiper blades

2 ??? remote start and wiper blades

does anyone have info on BOA as a remote start, and are there any gottcha when i go to install

Can some one check there car and tell me which side the wiper blade with the "D" goes on. intutition says Driver which is where i re-installed, but it doesn't feel right with the swing of the arm

As far as the wipers are you sure you didnt put one thats too big or too small on the drivers side?

really looking for the remote starter question before i disable my car this weekend ... any input from the forum ?

Boa is a piece of crap. Even if you install it properly, getting it to work reliably is 50/50.

I've put in a lot of these remote starters on maximas. The best way to go about it is to not cut the wires completely from the ignition switch. It gets messy. What I like to do is cut a section of insulation leaving the wire intact. Its hard to explain. I'll draw you a picture or something.

You will also need to buy a separate relay. The starter signal and the "start signal" connections MUST BE energized SEPARATELY or you MIGHT fry your computer.

The start signal wire should be energized using the relay. The Starter wire will be energized using the wire from the remote start unit.

I recommend you go with Autopage or a Valet system. Boa is DEI but its very low end electronics and not very reliable.

I hope you have a good idea on how electonics work too. It can get hairy under there especially when things dont work as they should.

i understand the pigtail attachmant to the wire, no instruction necc

what i'd like is the relay instruction before i fry my computer
the process of energizing the starter.pleae define DEI? not sure what the this is
