Oil Filter

if i change just my oil filter (M1-110) how much oil should i expect to lose?

Because oil filters when dry will not only suck up oil in the paper material.. its also a hollow cylinder.. as far as I know any liquid in a metal cylinder cant seep out... duh

Extended oil drain intervals with Amsoil synthetics call for the replacement of the filter and not the oil. But one has top off the oil level again.
