Hey, I just found this...
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...g=en&cardist=8
What do you think? I wanted something lower than 117,000 miles but what is your opinion? Thanks

I paid $6,000 for my 97 GXE, had 94k on it, got it in Edina. I'll be home this weekend if you are test driving it, maybe I can provide some help on things to look at / for.

Looks good, but the price is a little high. I got a fully loaded SE with 87K for $5300. Try and see if you can negotiate down a little. Good luck, you'll love it!

What do you think I should try to get it for? 117K is getting up there.

I thought everything was more in California. Still with an additional 20K miles, I don't think if should be more than $1.2K more. Try and get it for under $6k at least. Maybe $5700 if you're lucky. Blue book is $6100 with all options in *excellent* condition.

Depends how long its been for sale, and how fast he wants to sell it. All you can do is say I will pay $5800 or whatever you want to pay and see if he takes it.

I happen to like the 95 SE styling as well, but as you can see I'm biased. I like the grille better and what's wrong with the back/*** end.

Retail is $7210 in excellent, Private Party is $5355 in excellent conditon.

Run a CarFax before talking to him as well.

Good Luck.

Yup I was just going to say that. If I give him $5500 he will be doing good. I emailed him, wait and see I guess.

Wow, you guys have awesome rates. I live in Michigan, I'm 19 (gonna be 20 in 18 days) and my Max is a 95 GLE. As far as my insurance company knows, I have no tickets. I am also insured under my moms so my rates are lower. I have full coverage on my car. Point being, I am paying $1800 a year. And when my insurance company finds out about my ticket, I can assume it will jack up about $1200. Getting a ticket for 95 in a 55 is a bad idea.

a year? You must have it under your name, I pay about 1800 - 2000 a year. I'm under my mom's name, But i'm going to try to take them insurance classes that help bring it down,so i can start put it under my name..NY insurance = Killa

7 grand a year? That is horrible, I might not even drive if mine was that much. That is ~$150 a week!

I would look around some more before buying a car with 117,000 miles on it.
