Is this a true statement - msn auto report re 99 Maxima???

This statement is on a msn 99 maxima auto "rating" site---------
Occasional problems on this vehicle are failure of the Ignition Coils and the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Passages. Failure of the Ignition Coils can cause the engine to run rough or the check engine light to illuminate. Failure of the EGR valve passages will cause the check engine light to illuminate. The cost to repair the Ignition Coils is estimated at $471.61 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to clean the EGR Vlve Passages is estimated at $40.00 for parts and $195.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

if you do the work yourself, and buy parts online, cuts down quite a bit on those costs IF you actually need to do any of that work.

EGR's get clogged to hell so if you have a lot of miles on the car, it's a good idea to clean it if you can.
