nice job azmaxipad.

So I am doing the same thing as we speak. I noticed that the bezel from the M3 does not fit the headlight housing of the max. The top part of the circle is too big. Did you modify the bezel by cutting the top or is there a way to make it fit that I am not seeing?

Also, does the Bosch e46 bi-xenon solenoid go on the bottom as in the Hella bixenon or the top? Based on optics, I am guessing the bottom but I am not too sure!

Lastly, please do a write up for the wiring for the bosch E46 bixenon since it is different than the Hella if you can!!!

thanks!

I second that. I am attempting to do harness based on hidplanet's write up and it's still not that clear.

you will fry your stock wiring eventually if you run the ballasts directly off of your stock harness. it will work for a while and you'll think that everything is fine but eventually the skimpy stock wiring will fail because the ballasts draws over 3 times the rated current for the stock wiring at startup. a relay is a cheap insurance and there's no reason not to use one.

maximus_96, I have read that as well. Do you have any idea what relay and where to get it?

thanks,
Rowan

any 12v 30/40A relay will work. they're all the same. if you like you can get the more expensive Bosch ones. Radioshacks sells them too.

I will help you with any of your wiring needs and questions. also www.hidforum.com is a great help. the high beam shutter will be hooked up soon
Hey, I installed the projectors as well but I don't know how to wire the bi-xenons. I was wondering if you can help me make a wire where I can just plug it in. Am willing to pay you to help me do it.
