I'm thinking about doing a Bilstein high pressure engine flush on my car. I currently have 60k miles and will be switching to synthetic oil at this time also. The local Nissan Dealer charges $130 for this service, but i'm figuring i can get a slight discount if i bring my own motor oil. Any suggestions or opinions about this? I just want to convert to synthetic oil and to make my car run as smooth as possible. Thanks

Personally I would suggest against the Bilstein engine flush. If you have taken care of your Maxima, at 60k the engine should still be very clean internally. I would say just do the synthetic oil change (do it yourself if you want to save money) and forget about the flush. Most dealers will not let you bring your own motor oil (well, the lousy ones I live nearby, anyways).
