water in intake to motor?!?

I sucked in excess amount of water runs into the intake and into the motor....does that mean I am A$$ out? I did a motor flush with new oil. I am gonna take apart the intake manifold to see if there is even more water. should I just give it up and do a motor swap?

I dont really understand what you saying. If you are trying to say you sucked up water in through your intake into your motor then your motor is hydolocked and your screwed.

Wow, this is really weird. I was working on my Max outside just now and this guy comes up wanting to look at the engine bay. Turns out he worked for Infiniti for 15 years. He noticed my "hacked airbox" and told me to be wary of water being sucked in through the intake because Maximas have been known to have hydrolocking problems, especially with a big *** hole cut on the side. As for your problem, I'm not sure I can really help you - just thought it was very strange that I talked to this stranger about this, come inside, and see a post about a probable hydrolock. Maybe it's an omen :O!!!

Change the oil. Pull out all the spark plugs and crank out all the water. Start it up and hope you don't hear any funny noises.

If you hear any funny noises or you're down on power the do a compression check. I got a hydrolock on my old Taurus and once I cleared the water I had a rapid clicking sound that rose with engine revs and zero compression on cylinder 1. The #1 rod was snapped clean in half.

BTW is it easy to just take apart the I-manifold without messing something up? I've never done anyting like that.
