Hi,

I want to install speakers in my Maxima's front doors. The stock grills look like they come off without removing the door panel. I was wondering if anyone has tried to remove these grills and could help me out with how to do it. I tried prying but I didn't want to break anything once I saw that they weren't popping off.

 

They look like they do, but don't. You will have to take off the whole door panel. The Grill screws in from behind.

 

How silly of me to think that I might catch a break. Oh well I guess now I have to spray the inside of the door with undercoating for sound dampening. Thanks.
