Is this a DIY or should I take it to a mechanic...

I have oil leaking from the rear seal...
also transmision fluid change really dirty...

if possible to do it... any tips should i take...

I have a 5spd.

yeah its possible to do it at home.. but this is a PIA job..

depends on your level of skill. On my last car which was a four, i wouldnt hesitate to go through the work necessary for this. Upon looking at this one on the lift, some shade tree would just have to deal with me looking over his shoulder. id definitely take it in.
